Who's Awesome?

That's right, it's me!

I could have included this in the last post, but it was long and this deserves its own place.

I'm a don for Spring 2007! Go me! Minota Hagey, its a residence with 70 upper year students and 2 dons, which is nice because I feel better about the whole thing knowing it's going to be a tag team style match.

Oh, I also have a general question for my readership about said long post below. I find when I post a long post, my commentary and creativity start to suffer. I just kinda dictate what happened, without making it entertaining. I always like Liam's long posts, because its punctuated by hilarious commentary.

So are my long posts kinda boring? If so, I'm going to try to focus more on the important stuff, and make it less of a timeline. Lemme know!

Congratulations, dude!

If you're having trouble fleshing out a long post, just take frequent breaks to fart around on the net, listen to music, and just let your brain refresh itself. That's what I do. It never takes me less than an hour and a half to put out a decent-sized post, and a significant portion of that time is spent not writing. Seriously long posts can take me multiple days as I take time off to remember everything that I want to put in them, and why I'm including those things.

In the case of the post about our adventure, I wouldn't have put in the part about the intermission. It unbalanced the story by making it seem like there would be at least as much after the intermission as there was before it. It's not your fault that there wasn't much story left to write about, but readers don't know that, and its disappointing to have the story end so abruptly.

I would have included a little more about the movie, too. Not just about the film itself. Maybe the crowds of children jumping line in front of us, or my adventure buying candy at the concession and then trying to find you again.

Anyway, that's all I can think of. I still enjoyed the post a lot, but I have the actual events to go on in my head, so I'm not really the best judge of how clear it was.

"Reading your long posts is like swallowing bile and human feces mixed into an exotic cocktail of filth."

Jordan sometimes I wonder about the stuff you come up with. I like it though!

About your post andrew; I enjoyed it very much. I do understand the difficulties of writing long pieces and Liam seems to have this down to a science now. He is the guy who wrote the longest post known to mankind is he not?

At least you guys put effort into your posts. The small circle of blogs that my friends have seem to only serve the purpose of making fun of one another (usually me, actually).
